Treasure Digging

Treasure Digging is a minigame where Kliff uses a shovel to unearth buried treasure chests at marked locations throughout Pywel. Treasure maps and environmental clues guide the player to dig spots that yield rare items and coin.

Treasure maps can be purchased from merchants at the Fish Market, found as loot in dungeons, or received as quest rewards from exploration-focused NPCs across Pywel. Each map contains visual clues referencing recognizable landmarks, and deciphering the location is part of the challenge. The most valuable buried treasures are found in remote locations such as the far reaches of the Crimson Desert and the hidden caves of the Unicorn Cliffs, where chests can contain Abyss Artifacts, rare crafting materials, and unique cosmetic items unavailable through any other means. Players who collect and complete all treasure maps in a region unlock a special master map that reveals a legendary buried cache with exceptional rewards.

Treasure Digging sends players on exciting excavation hunts across Pywel using treasure maps and environmental clues to locate buried riches. Each dig site offers randomized loot pools that can include rare crafting materials, unique equipment, and valuable gold caches, making this minigame one of the most profitable and replayable activities in the game.
